| "It's Not Easy" | ||||||
| There is a big difference between a Southerner and someone who just lives down here. It's not easy being a Southerner, especially in this modern society. On the one hand we have some mighty big shoes to fill considering the men and women we are descended from and being Southrons we do consider them. Our ancestors and the paths of life they laid out for us still have great meaning. The sacrifices they willingly made in the attempt to uphold what their Colonial fathers left them will never be forgotten by us. But because of these ideals we are often attacked by "the powers that be." Those people and their ignorant puppets in the general public hate and fear us, for a true Southerner is a major threat to them and their"new society." A real Southerner refuses to conform to what the modern culture says is good and acceptable, for he knows by the words of his God and his ancestors what truth is. But it is not easy to separate yourself from modern society's grasp. Little things such as not buying products from companies that use profits to harm the South to large steps such as schooling our own children, all come at a cost. Some of us must bear a financial burden and others may be condemned by those close to them for the stand they take. We are often considered outcasts and unpatriotic because we do not blindly follow the government's dictates. But since we hold the Founding Documents dear to our hearts we have no choice but to stand against corrupt officials who drag them through the mud. We tend to expect more from politicians, being raised as we are on the words of Washington, Henry and Davis. We are even at times ridiculed from various pulpits because of our Southern view of Christianity. Modern pc minded preachers cannot fathom why we believe every word of the Bible and worse yet, why we try to live by them. But then those spineless whelps could never hold a candle to men like Robert Dabney or Father Bannon. Sometimes we are even condemned by leaders and members of heritage groups because we are active in the defense of Southern culture and history. But then, unlike them, we realise the futility of promoting our heritage without also strongly defending it, even in the political arena. We care too much for our ancestor's honor and our children's future to take any other course. The thought of going along with society just to acquire a measure of peace and prosperity is just not acceptable. If there are costs involved, so be it. We are seeing more people each year who have had enough of this corrupt society and all intrusive government. These people are declaring personal independence and are living their lives and raising their families their way, the Southern way. How about you? Do you just want to live down here, or do you want to live as a Southerner? Are you understanding the futility of living by this "modern" society's dictates, the same society that is trying to erase from America all you hold dear? Have you had enough yet? Then do something about it. If you have questions on seceding from this reconstructed culture and declaring your own personal independence, get in contact with us. We will introduce you to people who have already done it and they will share with you the wisdom they have gained through their experiences.
